Part I: Ginseng & Eleutherococcus
Ginseng (Panax ginseng)
It is recommended for use as a tonic in the treatment of physical or mental exhaustion. Ginseng it is also used in the treatment of anxiety, often along with other drugs with sedative effect that help control nervousness or insomnia, some of the most common manifestations of stress.
Ginseng is considered an adaptogen, meaning it can balance to exert a normalizing effect on different bodily processes like Ashwagandha root.
Eleutherococcus (Eleutherococcus senticosus)
Eleutherococcus is also called “Siberian Ginseng”, the roots are used for its properties of greater ability to stimulate the immune system.
The roots and rhizome of this plant are used, which has pharmacological properties, indications and to increase resistance to stress, reducing fatigue and increase energy.
Regarding Ginseng, it is less stimulating than Eleutherococcus but better tolerable for those people who show sensitivity to Eleutherococcus.
